Our R3 trademark ensures the circular and repetitive practices we enforce on our products aiming at protecting the environment.
The specific product, is mostly made with recycled polyester and is part of our continuous effort to reduce our global environmental footprint.
Recycled polyester is mainly made from recycled plastic PET, like the one used in single-use plastic bottles, or other polyester leftovers. After sorting various plastics from recycling bins, plastic PET is cleaned, shredded, and recycled into new recycled polyester fiber.
This way, we give new life to plastic waste, we reduce the consumption of virgin raw material, and consume less water and energy. The new, recycled thread has properties similar to virgin polyester: it is extremely long-lasting and resistant and can always be recycled again.
